Leave M56 at junction 14 and travel toward Helsby / Frodsham on the A5117. Travel straight at the junction with the A56 towards Frodsham. Two hundred yard after this junction take first right “Primrose Lane” and travel up the hill to the “T” junction. Turn right towards Manley. At the next “T” junction turn right again onto Manley Road (B5393). After about a mile the road goes down a dip at the bottom of which take the left turn which is probably signed “Frodsham / kingsley. Travel along this road passing the first cross roads, followed by a sharp bend which has a right turn just after it. You are now on a long straight going slightly up hill. Just as the road starts to curve right you will see a track on left hand side leading to Shepherds Houses – small hamlet . Take this track down and park on the right hand side as far down the track as you can. Continue on foot into the forest. Meet at 10.00 on Tuesday 23 June.
